indigecation’s founder and facilitator, Karen MacAulay, creates a safe and respectful environment to explore Canada’s “hidden” side of history. Embedded with information such as facts, terms, and contexts around the history of Indigenous peoples, the in-depth workshop series will invite each participant to develop a personal understanding of “where” they are in Canada today due to historical events.

With an emphasis on the different experiences of Canadians, her goal is to encourage reflection and facilitate complex discussions to transform one’s understanding of Indigenous people today and throughout history.

Transforming Our Collective History
